The following is going on in my hometown. Thought I would post it if anyone else is interested. Tyler and I will be running. THis will be my first ever actual 5k!
St. Patrick’s Day Brew & Stew5K Run/Walk or 15K Bike Ride starts out Saturday March 7th, 4:00pm at Kleve’s Pub in Cresco! (Registration starts at 3:00pm at Kleves).
The run/walk will be a 3.1 mile route on city streets of Cresco. The 9 mile bike route will loop around Cresco to the Nature Center and back to Cresco. The entire event starts at Kleve’s Pub and ends at Kleve’s Pub!
Brew& Mulligan Stew will be provided after the event. Canned pop and bottled water will be provided for those under 21 years and those who request it.
Trophies for 1st place overall men and 1st place overall women will be awarded as well as to the person riding the oldest bike, “Peoples Choice” bike, and a “special” prize awarded to person wearing the most green!
Cost is $10/person or $15/couple
No pre-registration needed – JUST SHOW UP! Your bib # will be your ticket to the refreshments (free refreshments served until 8:00pm).
